12 Days of Christmas Giveaway - Day 5

Did your designer provide you with a rasterized logo only? Or maybe you used one of those (eh em) free or do-it-yourself logo creators and all you have to show for it is a raster logo that cannot be edited or only looks good on the web. Maybe somewhere down the line, your original source file just got lost and you need another one created.

For Day 5 of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway, we’re going to clean up your act…umm, logo by converting it to a vector format!

Why would you want or need your logo in a vectorized format? Vector images are based on mathematical formulas rather than pixels like raster-based images. Essentially, vector-based images are more flexible, versatile, and easier to use than raster images. An obvious advantage of vector images, as opposed to raster graphics, is that vector images are completely scalable and are not resolution dependent. Therefore, a vector-based image can be printed on any output device at any resolution without losing the details, whether you increase the size by 5000% or decrease the size to 5%.

The Prize

One (1) image* to be converted from raster to vector, then we will provide you with the original source file and every file format you’ll ever need including .eps, .jpg, .gif, and .png. Heck, we’ll even tell you which one to use in different media you’re creating.

*We’ve been known to perform miracles converting raster images to vectors, but even we have met our match from time to time, and there are certain restrictions such as the size of the image or images that are overly complicated. Once the winner has been determined, we will review their file to verify that it can be converted without any problems prior to proceeding.

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway - Day 1

It is day one of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway, and I have to say that I’m all a flutter on what we have in store for not one, but two lucky winners. This prize will by far be my favorite giveaway because it holds such a special meaning to me personally.

My very good friend, and Godfather to my daughter, Terrence Grachanin, is the most amazing and talented artist that I know. His hand-drawn religious images are quite moving and I’m sure you’ll agree. Terry is currently attending Saint Mary Seminary in Wickliffe, Ohio where he is studying to become a Catholic priest.
