In keeping with my new business model, a new service I’ve added to the Signature Worx roster is custom Facebook pages for businesses. Having done quite a few of these already, I have to say this is one of my favorite things to do. Who am I kidding? All of the services I provide are my favorite because my work allows me to be my natural creative self and clients love the fact that I produce designs even when they didn’t even know they wanted! It’s all about going above and beyond for me and of course the thrill of wowing people.
Anyway, getting back to Facebook pages, as many businesses begin to dip their toes into social media, starting a Facebook page is usually at the top of their list of things to do. Besides being able to interact with your customers, a Facebook page is really just a great way to keep your business in front of them (and your potential customers) to create a buzz about what’s going on. But more importantly it’s about connecting and socializing in real time.
So what kinds of businesses benefit most from having a Facebook page? Most people probably think it’s the Internet savvy, virtual business types, but it’s actually the local businesses that benefit most in my opinion. Not to take away from virtual businesses, but what better way to leverage your local target market than to keep them up to date with specials, new inventory, promotions, coupons, and so much more?
Starting a Facebook page for your business isn’t always the right move though, but that’s another post for another time.
